Jump into the Jocko Valley
In September, January, and May, Arlee Title VI and Title I programs collaborate to present Jump into the Jocko Valley, an informational program for teachers in the district.
September 2018: Historical information was shared by Anna Baldwin, followed by a bus tour of Arlee driven by Ken Hill and narrated by Val and Dib Espinoza.
January 2019: Cultural information was shared by Frances Vanderburg, followed by a traditional meal of bison and bitterroot prepared by Qene's Catering (Trina Felsman).
May 2019: Contemporary tribal information was shared by Troy Felsman, followed by an indigenous-inspired meal of wild rice and elk by Qene's Catering (Trina Felsman).
