HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Cooking Club will meet today from 4-6 in Jackson's room. We will be making hot chocolate and homemade brownies!

All high schoolers and 8th graders interested in playing baseball this spring, please meet in Mr. Alberty's room in the high school Tuesday, November 26 at 12:35 (the last 15 minutes of lunch). Interested 8th graders can find Bosley in the lunchroom to be escorted over.

Interested in diving into the world of documentary filmmaking? Big Sky Film Institute’s Teen Doc Intensive is a comprehensive, hands-on course that offers high school students the chance to try their hand at filmmaking, from idea to implementation. Join established filmmakers and fellow high school students from across Montana during the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival!  Applications are due December 13th, please see Mr. Cordier for an application.

Congratulations to the students who earned Honor Passes 1st semester. Keep up the great  work.  We are extremely proud of you and your efforts. The list is posted in the hallway on the bulletin boards. If you have any questions about your eligibility to use a Pass you may come to the office for more information.   

Arlee High School will be hosting a Financial Student Aid ID (FSA ID) TONIGHT in the library from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. for our seniors and guardians. Mike Lincoln from Reach Higher Montana will be here to answer questions regarding scholarships, applications, and the college process. This will be an excellent opportunity to get a jumpstart on the FAFSA application when it opens! 

November is MMIW month (Missing and Murdered Indigenous People) in the high school. Ask students to wear red or regalia on Thursdays to recognize the indigenous women because they face violence at a much higher rate than others. To further educate yourself, please view AISA's bulletin board in the hallway. 

Reminder: After school tutoring has started back up!  It will be held Monday-Wednesday at 4:15 pm until 5:15 pm. It will rotate each week between the library and Mrs. White’s classroom.

Seniors!! Your time is running out to bring in your senior and baby photos for the yearbook. The deadline is on January 15th and it is quickly approaching; So now is the best time to bring them in.

 From now on Mr. Cordier will be in the library every Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM for everything post-secondary. Please feel free to come down to work on scholarships, college applications, job applications, etc. I will see you there!

 The Big Knife Drum group will practice Thursdays at lunch in the library.  All Welcome! 

 Any seniors wanting to retake their ACT please see Mr. Cordier! We have received the test waivers, so we can pick a day and location!

 Arlee High School is interested in putting together a cooking club that would meet on Wednesday's from 4-6. If you are interested in joining a cooking club, please sign the sheet at the office. More details to follow!

The close-up trip will be Sunday, April 13th - Friday, April 18th this year.  If you are interested in going, the $500 deposit is due NO LATER THAN Thursday, November 21st.

 Forgot to buy a Yearbook last year? Wish you had one? 2023-24 Yearbooks are on sale in the office for $25 instead of $45. Get yours today! 

 Activity fees need to be paid ASAP.  All students in sports need to have these fees paid IMMEDIATELY!!  You will not be able to participate at your first event until all your forms are completed, turned in & fees paid.

AISA will meet on Wednesdays every week at lunchtime in the library.     

FCCLA meetings will be on Tuesday of every other week in the FACS room.

NHS meets on the first Tuesday of the month at lunchtime.
