Last night multiple school districts across the state of Montana received an email making threats toward schools. In this email, there was no mention of the state of Montana or any specific school. School officials and law enforcement do not deem these threats to be credible, and at this time, this notification is informational and cautionary measure.
While these threats are unfounded, the can certainly cause a great deal of concern and disruption within our school communities. We will continue to monitor the situation with local law enforcement and will, work closely with them and verify the accuracy and authenticity of any reports we receive. In the meantime, school operations will continue as normal.
The safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority. If the situation changes, you will receive an email directly from Dr. Perry.
